VIDA GAFFIN (adult Bat Mitzvah)
The very first time that Cantor Liat came to Cinnaminson she ignited a spark of enthusiasm among many Temple Sinai congregants. Her sincere and heartfelt renditions of the prayers are pleasures to the ear and for the soul. I can feel “the tent of peace being spread” during Haskivenu; I can feel the oneness of G-D when we sing together “Shma Yisroel”, and I can feel and believe in peace for our world during Kaddish Shalem when she implores “Aleynu v’ al kol Yisroel”. Her sincerity of belief is so strong, it’s contagious. She inspired me to become a Bat Mitzvah at age 75. Her beliefs are strong and she shares them, not imposes them. To know Cantor Liat is a privilege and a Blessing.
